New York S/S 10: Zac Posen

D.I.S.C.O. Zac Posen knows how to do party dresses effortlessly. The collection was... fun ( I hate using 'fun' to describe clothes, but it had to be done). The collection was very youthful and the use of primary colours added that extra something special. I loved the lips and hand motifs on the dresses and when they were used as brooches on the sheer, pleated black dress. The stand out piece for me, was the yellow cap sleeved minidress with the cut out detailing on the waist. While we may have seen cut outs in many of the collections this season, here it definately contributed to the dress. Alek Wek's pink criss-cross dress was beautiful. These are party dresses at their best.
