New York S/S 10: DKNY
Florals suit you Donna Karan. (Did you see that pun...). This collection 'City in Bloom' was exactly what it said on the tin, everything was floral inspired but as it is DKNY it was all made with the city girl in mind. Hence, the plethora of suits on show. There were oversized blazers, city short suits, ankle grazing grey oversized ones and a cute pinstripe shorts version, which was one of my favourite looks. The best use of the florals for me was the floral outline silhouette but the bolder prints did add variety. The black and pink jumpsuits were also quite nice as were the structural dresses. What I loved about the collection was the use of those body-shaping shorts underneath everything especially the pink and nude ones, very quirky and something different to leggings.
