New York S/S 10: Nicole Miller

The mood for this collection was quite sporty, and could easily be dressed up or down. There was some sheer panelling in the dresses and made a good partnership when worn with the graphic print and a block colour. I really liked the shade of grey that was used quite heavily in the collection, it had a slight metallic quality about it and looked more like a slate grey. One of my favourite pieces were the ruched city shorts, which added something different to the usual summer short and could be easily worn at night with some fierce heels. There was a little touch of body-con in the collection but not dramatic body-con quite subtle and yet again some leather biker jackets were seen here as were some softer alternatives.
