New York S/S 10: Jen Kao

Romance & Seduction were the main themes running throughout the collection. Bustier dresses and body-con minidresses were toned down in pastel colours and jersey materials to make the look softer and romantic. As did the biker jackets in lighter jackets with cut out detailing on the sleeves. Some of the pieces went in a more tailored direction such as the grey tux dress which was a great piece as it was more fitted and structured a more feminine alternative to androgynous, oversized tux dresses. The white suit also a key piece had skinny bottoms and a larger top, but one of my favourite looks was the bustier maxi dress which was beautifully fitted at the top but graduated into a a fluid dress.
