New York S/S 10: Gary Graham
Gary Graham took a trip back into the Victorian era with a distressed, romantic and peasant style collection. Corsetry, burnt orange prints, sheer fabrics and oversized suits were all featured. The collection was similar to that of Cynthia Rowley's as it was distressed but in a pretty way. Graham avoided too much of the prettiness and had a slight tomboyish quality too it especially with the androgynous suits. What I loved about this collection was that it had character, each piece told a story and looked simpple but when you looked closer more elements were revealed.
