New York S/S 10: Donna Karan
The movement and fluidity of the pieces at Donna Karan was breathtaking. Keeping in line with her A/W collection, Karan offered a stunning collection of soft tailoring and subtle draping. The tailoring was lovely and encapsulated the movement of the models and the flared edging on the jackets looked like it was a windy Spring day in New York. The skirtsuits really won the show they were stylish, sophisticated and very wearable. The coral draped dresses were the perfect partner for the grey and neutral tones. The red and ruched pencil dress added a splash of colour and the white snakeskin pencil skirt suit with peaked jacket was delightful. The closing dresses were very loose and fluid and swayed effortlessly along the catwalk.
