New York S/S 10: Lela Rose

A colourful collection from Lela Rose. The colour palette was very rich and included emerald tones which looked very ladylike and glamourous. Emerald green dresses worn with cardigans were beautiful together and a great alternative to a jacket. The outerwear on display ranged from long, light belted jackets in lime green to shrunken emerald anoraks. The prints used were subtle but created an impact on the looks. A minimalistic body-con dress in neutral tones stood out as did the nautical inspired pieces such as striped tops and navy trousers. The stars of the show were the cocktail and evening dresses, they came in a variety of colours and styles and the soft draping ruffles added something special as did the grecian white metallic dress.
