New York S/S 10: Elise Øverland

I am all for black in Spring, but this collection was a bit too dark for my liking. Yes, it was worn with nude tones and the ocassional burnt orange but it was very dark. Especially, as it was in Øverland's staple of leather. Some of the pieces were really nice such as the nude and black spotted dress and the high collared nude leather dress. There were also shiny black leather trouser suits. I also quite liked the black leather mini with the grey and black leather jacket. The details and the fluidity of the collection worked well but it needed some more colour or lighter fabrics.
