New York S/S 10: Altuzarra
A 70's elegant patchworked treat by Joseph Altuzarra. After his body-con debut last season, Altuzarra went in a different direction this time. The collection beautifully meshed soft sheer whites with sage/moss greens and dark camel nudes. The palette showcased the mood of the collection. The fitted apron style dresses and playsuits were great as were the green trousers with a soft waterfall neckline jacket. The subtle fringing on some of the skirts added to the 70's inspiration. The effect of the collection showed a thrown together look but in a good way and showed Altuzarra can do more than body-con well. My favourite look from the collection was Natasha Poly's closing number... stunning. Plus, I really want that long poncho.
