New York S/S 10: Ohne Titel
An Egyptian inspired collection from Flora Gill and Alexa Adams. The colour palette was nudes, paired with reds and black. There was an air of futurism as the collection was very graphic and also quite body-concious in the dresses which were beautiful especially the ones with contrasting sleeves. The sci-fi leggings were special and took the collection that extra step further. One of my favourite pieces were the dresses that looked as delicate as a spider's web and were inspired by Egyptian mummy bandages. The structural jackets and trousers were a great counterpoint to the graphic prints of the other pieces. No wonder why Gill and Adams are Vogue Fashion Fund finalists.
