New York S/S 10: Anna Sui

The 60's were the key inspiration for Anna Sui aka Lifetime Achievement award winner (CFDA). There were prints galore which was refreshing as there wasn't repetition and every print was as exciting as the last and worn in many different ways. I loved the circus inspiration as well which was also seen at Temperley London, the military ring-master capes were amazing as were the top hats. The collection was quite preppy with checked trouser suits with tights/knee high socks, ties and cable knit jumpers. The boho pieces with brown floral prints was really a throwback to the 60's. The model's wigs were just great. It was fun to see such an optimistic and exciting collection.
