New York S/S 10: Boy by Band of Outsiders
I love props, so this collection started off very well for me due to the beach backdrop. Very good way to think of summer. The collection was very preppy, and surf-inspired but there were some other elements added in there to add something different to the theme. Such as, bandage skirts which looked great with button down blouses and shirts. I loved the shrunken blazers and the tux which looked really good with the white vest underneath and ankle grazing trousers, cool but no too cool. The nude blazer was nice with the white shirt coming through under the sleeves and made more summery with the cropped trousers. Drawstrings were used a lot in grey parkas and floral dresses. A lot of shorts here, especially tailored city shorts and playsuits. I think a few of these pieces are going on my summer wishlist.
