Bryan Bradley decided to reference the political issue of 'Proposition 8' in his short story themed collection. Proposition 8 is a law in California that recognises only the marriage between men and women as legal. So, hence the closing seven looks being bridalwear. The collection itself included sheer hooded cardigans, gold metallic shorts. Pink, flared minis and draped nude tops. A few pieces were tiered whether it be dresses or skirts. I particularly the coats, the iced blue one and the burnt orange version. The collection was quite pretty, the colours weren't very bold but worked well but there were lots of seperates that caught your eye. The bridal section was cleverly done first came a ruched, fitted jacket with a draped, floor-length gown and heavy veil, which was followed by masculine white flared trouser and camisole. The next gown was a hooded dress with a diagonal drape, which was followed by a corset, blazer and shorts before the closing gown which was heavy and pleated. The contrast between masculine and feminine gowns definately brought Bradley's chosen political issue to the forefront.
