The interview with the fab design duo Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos was rather interesting. They spoke about their backgrounds, inspirations and their A/W collection. I love their use of digital prints and they spoke about how they create them. What I loved most about the interview, was that they had only created 2 looks for S/S11 so far. They have 28 more to do before LFW... oh my.
For Brown's launch of their new store 'Shop 24' which stocks luxury basics, they had a variety of lessons. From art to food, there were talks throughout the evening. I got a place on the cookery class with the legendary Mark Hix. It was amazing, he taught us how to finely chop onions. Doesn't sound tricky, but believe me there is an art to it. We then got to ask him any food questions we may have, which proved to be very insightful.
I love that FNO brings together fans of fashion and serious shoppers for a spectacular night out. The queue in Selfridges for Chanel manicures proved how successful the night was. Well done Vogue and bring on next year.
