New York Spring/Summer 2011: Marchesa

I can't describe how much I love Marchesa. Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, never cease to amaze me. Marchesa dresses leave women speechless, if you are lucky enough to wear one of the gowns it is truly a Cinderella moment. Wonderful draping was seen, with hints of flesh under the sheerest materials. A breathtaking gown had an almost smoky effect as the black merged gradually into white. Flirty super short dresses were also seen, and had the same impact as the ethereal gowns. Harem jumpsuits in gorgeous lace were paired with cute boleros, to add a bit of an alternative to the dresses. Trawling trains, flowed behind dresses and seemingly went on forever. Look after look, I held my breath... this is what fashion dreams are made of.
