New York Spring/Summer 2011: Ports 1961
This collection had fantastic fluidity, think liquid gold not the h20 kind. The draping and looseness of the pieces expertly moved and hung on the body as clothes should. There was an array of cocktail dresses, in vibrant and rich tones. The colours one would wear when going on a mysterious Arabian adventure in the desert. The introduction of trousers amongst the dresses were a great distraction. I loved the asymmetric shapes and the purple coat dress. This has to be the go to collection for holiday wardrobe inspiration. But, for me the movement of the pieces stole the show.
