New York Spring/Summer 2011: Jen Kao
Delicate and pretty looks sashayed down the catwalk at Jen Kao. The collection was like a dream with waterfall jackets, flowing maxis and soft layering. Oversized knits worn with a softly printed, floor sweeping skirt was gorgeous. The exposure of the midriff appears to be staying with us, with crop tops paired with flared skirts and high waisted trousers. I adore the lacy sandals that sprawl up to the calf. The crotched cobweb dresses offered texture. The standout looks had to be the billowing dresses, that proved how elegant maxis can be for day. I loved the rose-gold looks, with the bustier and silk skirt. Such a feminine collection from Jen Kao, and barely any body-con in sight.
