New York Spring/Summer 2011: Cynthia Rowley

Cynthia Rowley's distressed collection for Spring/Summer 2010 was one of my all time NY faves. I love her designs, and this season was no different. The perforated circles and sheer jumpers were fun and pretty. As were the use of buttons to add an embellished twist. Ditsy prints and pastel shades added a girly signature. The dresses and skirts heralded in that longer length, reaching around mid-calf. There were some buttoned shirts and tailored trouser combos too. We've seen quite a lot of this pairing at NY so far *trend alert*. My favourite pieces were the shirt dresses in silk which were undeniably feminine.
