New York Spring/Summer 2011: Z Spoke by Zac Posen

This is the first runway show from Zac Posen's diffusion line Z Spoke. A much anticipated show at that, this has to be the most outrageously fun and cutest show of the week so far. This is quirky kookiness done expertly, there was a look to suit every girls fashion-filled lifestyle. The prints came in the form of multi-cultural faces and happy fruits. A tangerine toned trench with a watermelon brooch and snakeskin dress started the proceedings. Pineapple printed tees and a vest with an apple with attitude worked perfectly, sounds so wrong but looked so right. A ruffle blouse teamed with a waist belt, high waisted trousers and fitted jacket was a standout look. I love when you get excited about what the next look could be when watching a collection, and this is what Z Spoke offered. I am craving the last look of a black cut-out gown which effortlessly gorgeous.
