Givenchy: Paris Couture Week A/W 10

Tisci's Frida Kahlo inspired collection was beautiful in both its simplicity and complexity. The complexity came in the workmanship and the most intricate of details. The simplicity was seen in the lines and shapes. The lace, the embroidery, the fringing, the glitter and the feathers. Each aspect and detail was breathtaking in its execution. I am still stunned at the beauty of this collection. This is truly what modern couture is all about. I also loved that the collection had a story behind it, and you could see the story of Frida Kahlo speaking out from these gorgeous pieces.
