Givenchy: Paris Couture Week S/S 10

Dark elegance meets startling brights. The androgynous and slightly gothic start to the collection highlighted the beauty of artisan detailing. A single piece consisted of corsetry, panelling, ruffles and perfect tailoring. The collection nodded to the big trends with thigh-high boots, ruffles, feathers and lingerie. The collection confidently brightened up with metallic acids in blue, green and purple with great prints and embroidery. I am loving the gothic make up and I have fallen for feathers all over again.
