New York A/W 2010-11: Chado Ralph Rucci

Rucci showed off his plethora of techniques and style in this collection. Tulle, feathers, furs and sequins... what more could a girl want. Firstly, I need to say that I loved the OTK boots especially in the ruched leather. The furs were decadent, sumptuous and glamorous but most importantly looked ever so warm especially as we are in a global 'blizzard'. The trousers were fantastic, but for me the coats stole the show. They were soft, feminine and just delightful really. I loved the piece with the voluminous elbow-grazing sleeves. The colour combinations also worked brilliantly and the grey and bronze is a perfect example of this. The cocktail and evening dresses were breathtaking especially the feathered ones as I am partial to a feather or two. Well done Rucci.
