After the Louis Vuitton show for A/W, which took the season by storm, with the all woman theme. It comes as no surprise that Marc Jacobs is starting the progress of designing a plus size range. The size issue, is a common talking point in the fashion industry. From worries over models being too small, to models being too big to appear on the catwalk. The tide is changing and people rarely bat an eyelid when a voluptuous model graces the catwalk. Mark Fast, during his last shows has used plus sized models and created an uproar. Many magazines have also used plus size models in their spreads and dedicating issues also. Crystal Renn has become the supermodel in charge for plus size models. With her effortless beauty, she doesn't need the 'plus size' label and can easily rely on just being a great model. Some designers already carry bigger sizes and I think that Marc Jacobs will pave the way for others to follow suit. Fashion isn't something that only certain sizes should be able to appreciate.
