BCBG Max Azria
A collection that played with layering and light femininity. The pieces were airy and soft and layered with a simple polo neck. Fur and camel coats added depth to the collection, and made the collection more seasonal. A longer silhouette was shown in the form of flowing dresses. The sleek hair with side-parting provided the perfect finishing touch.

Oh, how I loathe the legging/trainers combo. However, when paired with leather micro-shorts and a double dose of camel knits, I could be persuaded. The collection was casual, laidback and a noticeable sporty feel due to the recurrence of said trainers. It was a tale of two looks; soft and sometimes sleek contrasted with a sporty and slouchy mood. A knitted maxi dress with fringed scarf was instantly transformed when paired with white trainers.

A clash of prints and textures combined with a multitude of references. An Evil Glam tee paired with a flowing printed skirt. Oriental inspired dresses, a continuation of the S/S11 trend. A pair of Converse were the footwear of choice with an ethnic look. This was all interspersed with ladylike blouses and tulip skirts.

This collection is classic NY, casual and effortlessly stylish. Floral maxis, trench coats and red velvet were seen. The outerwear and knits were very appealing and it looks like the wardrobe staple of a maxi dress will be firmly staying with us for a while longer.

Oozing sophistication and Upper East Side elegance. Ladylike and feminine pieces that can be transitioned from workwear to evening. An asymmetric dress took understated sensuality to the extreme and a sequinned gunmetal maxi-skirt paired with a jersey v-neck was just divine. I want this collection as well as an equally amazing job where I can show these looks off.

A heritage blazer with a lace skirt opened the collection. It was followed by an array of layered looks with a modern and deconstructed feel. A crisp blue shirt with mesh crop-top stood out as did the mustard yellow coat paired with a decadent leather tunic. Let us not overlook the Hunter boots... scribbled onto wish list.
Z Spoke by Zac Posen
Z Spoke's debut, not too long ago was a fun, flirty and overtly colourful affair. This time he has gone for a darker look. More serious than before but in a dark and seductive way. It was fresh, modern and wearable. Dresses appeared frequently as did a few more casual pieces and a touch of tailoring. I loved the moody darkness, the collection offered pieces that we want to wear come Winter.
